Full production lines on the offshore extruders

Bjørn Hågan Bjørn Hågan

The offshore industry expects the increased demand for offshore solutions to continue. Primo has prepared for further expansion of its manufacturing facilities.

Our first-class production site to the south of Hamburg with state-of-the-art extrusion facilities.

New production lines in Germany

Primo’s offshore production includes 24 dedicated lines at our Swedish premises, and now we offer further production facilities in Germany:

Back in 2023, we established four more offshore lines in our Hamburg facility. We did so to be able to produce shaped fillers and rods for our Central and Southern European customers in the offshore industry.

The extra production lines in Germany are up and running, and busy as well. Especially the demand for shaped fillers has increased over the past year, and the offshore industry expects a continued increasing demand. Therefore, we are happy to announce that we have the possibility to expand the capacity further, and we plan to do so.

Further advantages

Expanding our capacity has been more than just a response to increased demand; it has played a key role in deepening our relationship with our customers, both in terms of proximity and as strategic business partners.

When we introduced new production lines at our Hamburg facility last year, our aim was not just to increase production. We wanted to bring production closer to our customers in Central and Southern Europe, enabling us to offer more tailored solutions and faster delivery times. This move has enabled us to better meet the specific needs of our regional customers and strengthen our presence in these key markets.

Shortening the transport distance of our products results in significant savings in time, cost and CO2 emissions. In addition, being closer to our customers allows us to arrange face-to-face meetings at short notice, which greatly benefits ongoing projects.
